For the Kazberry Family, Sundays are traditionally our fun family day when we get to hang out and enjoy a day off together.  With a 9 month old, our activities are usually limited to hanging out at the park or Keough’s Hot Springs, or if we’re feeling particularly adventurous we might head out on a bike ride with the kiddy trailer in tow.  A couple weeks ago, we decided to really go all out and head to June Mountain and see if Colton liked downhill skiing.  Once he was all strapped on Daddy’s chest we headed up the first chairlift…and Colton started giggling and didn’t stop for the rest of the day.  Looks like he’s going to be a thrill-seeker like his parents!  We thought we’d maybe get a couple runs in and then have to switch off watching the little guy in the lodge, but Colton’s giggles and squeals kept us out until the chairlifts shut down!  We have been blessed with such an easygoing and happy baby that truly enjoys all the adventures we drag him on!

If you have never been to June Mountain, it’s located about 16 miles north of Mammoth Lakes in the picturesque town of June Lake, which is often referred to as “the Alps of the Sierra” because of it’s beautiful vistas and towering peaks.  Home to four lakes, June Lake is a year-round resort that offers lots of outdoor fun.  Skiing in the winter turns to fishing, hiking, and swimming fun in the summer!  Breathtaking scenery make it the perfect place to vacation.  If you haven’t checked it out yet make sure to take a drive up there on your next visit to Mammoth, or visit the June Lake website at http://junelakeloop.org/.
